OUR MISSION

The mission of Lighthouse Assembly of God is to strive to complete the work of God in our lives, in our church, and our world.

OUR VISION

We exist to please God by allowing Him to complete the work He has started in our lives, by being His hands and feet in our church doing the work He has called us to do, and by being passionate about showing our community and the world the love and forgiveness of Jesus Christ.

- John 4:34 “My food,” said Jesus, “is to do the will of Him who sent Me and to finish His

- Philippians 1:6 “…being confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on     to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.

- James 2:21-22 “Was not our father Abraham considered righteous for what he did when he         offered his son Isaac on the altar? You see that his faith and his actions were working together,     and his faith was made complete by what he did.”

OUR VALUES

We understand that the church is not a building but a people. In becoming the people that God has called us to be, we accomplish His work by:

a) Loving God with a Genuine Passion

        - Matthew 22:37 Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your          soul and with all your mind.’

b) Living According to God’s Word

        - Psalm 119:105 Your Word is a lamp for my feet, and a light onto my path.”

c) Learning to Obey His Spirit and Follow His Leading

        - John 14:16 “But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, who the Father will send in My name, will              teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.”

d) Leveraging the Message of Salvation for all to Believe

        - Titus 3:11 "For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people.”

        - 2 Peter 3:9 “The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness.              Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to                repentance.”

e) Listening to God through Prayer

        - Ephesians 6:18 “And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and                    requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.”
